"The Colour Kittens" was one that I must have read 100's of times. I still love it, and read it to my son regularly.
Go Brush and Hush, mix those paints and get pouncy!
These colourful kitten pendants are called Pedro and Frida, named after 2 of my favorite pussies.
I hope they will be adopted by some lovely cat fanciers for Christmas.
Don't forget to visit the MELBOURNE DESIGN MARKET this Sunday at Federation Square Car park....... Betty Jo will be for sale along with a great selection of locally made goodness.....
Pedro and Frida are gorgeous - I love the little half button feature - very cute!!!
ReplyDeletei love your work and blog (vintage heaven!)... 'great to "meet" you and thanks for dropping by my little corner of the internet :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the market!
ReplyDeleteShame I can't make it.. they are gorgeous as are the clocks - I'm sure they'll be sought after..
ReplyDeleteI love that golden bookserie! We have a finnish translated versions of those books. I'm gonna collect the whole serie.. little by little.
ReplyDeleteI've only just discovered your blog, but I had to comment on this. I had that very book as a child and it was one of my favourites too - so colourful and inspiring. In fact, I'm pretty sure my mum has all my old books in a trunk under the house......so guess what I'm going to be doing today? :P
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I saw some of your gorgeous brooches in Cherry Blossom in Brisbane the other day (Rachel, who owns the store said the first time she saw one on a customer she knew she had to stock them!!). They are even more beautiful in real life. My wish list has just grown a little bit longer.
