I love the word- HABERDASHERY, and haberdashery shops (although most have disappeared)
If anyone would like to have this lot of old zips (approx.100), just leave me a comment. Some are tiny, some are massive, but most are regular sizes. All brass and steel, some with the funky ring pulls, some pre-loved.
Unfortunately you cant have the other goodies, which I picked up from a trash & treasure market on the weekend. I've already started using the buttons and doilies and the tin is holding them. The jar used to contain Nestle baby food, just 30c at Coles!
My first instinct is to say YES! But then commonsense prevails and I look at my hordes of sewing stuff (new and not) and I know I have to say no...
ReplyDeleteZips and I have a love hate relationship. And the same goes lately with my Husqvarna. That is why I have put sewing at the bottom of my to do list!
