Dear O Deer

We love deers at our place. Deidre Deer lino brooch is always popular, although I'm sometimes worried she may look like a hunting trophy.
Coincidentally, as I was loading this pic. I noticed Gemma Jones aka Paintergirl had left this comment about the Deer on Betty Jo's Myspace page yesterday....
"Your critters REALLY ARE lovable. I like how the pattern of the tip of the leaf looks like a smile for the deer! awwww! nice."
Now that is something I'd never noticed. Thanks Gemma.

This little creature is on a pillow case. I think it's a deer, but Lily is sure it's a giraffe. A deeraffe!
