Not your everyday Sparrow


Although the sparrows we know have dull grey feathers, I chose the brightest colours I had to make this sparrow brooch.
Then I found this fellow, a Kalavinka or Indian Sparrow.
It's colours certainly evoke the vivid hues of an Indian sari, or the brilliance of a ruby.
