It must be Christmas!

Last Friday I was handed a very interesting package by the postie.
Packed inside were lots of pieces of this beautiful vintage lino.

I literally jumped for joy, as I was in dire need of more lino to continue with my numerous Christmas orders. Vintage lino is not a material you can just pop down to the jewellery supply shop to get more of. It has to be SOURCED in very unusual places.
So, a HUGE thankyou to the lovely Fliss from Udder, for thinking of me. This lino has come all the way from Queensland, and has already been crafted into some Betty Jo pieces.

  1. Thats so great, how old does the lino have to be , to be "old lino" if that makes sense?

  2. I would say Lino from the 40's and 50's and earlier if its in OK condition. Most lino from the 60's onwards is vinyl, but can still have a great design.

  3. So glad you like it...the new creations look beautiful. That lino had newspaper laid with it and the date on the paper was 1941. By the way.... there is more coming!! x
