This is..... Betty Jo designs

Finally, after many years and dozens of career paths begun, but never truly followed, I can say..."Betty Jo designs" is my bestest creation. (Kids, partner and family go without saying).
It makes me happy, keeps me busy, provides an income, allows my creative itch to be scratched, allows me to visit op-shops regularly to source materials, and lets me juggle everything a little bit easier.
So, from something I began almost as a matter of necessity, (realizing after baby no.2 I had no desire to return to teaching after 6 months unpaid leave) I have developed a busy little cottage industry with a staff of one-me!
Helped along the way with some great support from lovely stockists , a bit of good luck, and my desire to make something unique, I am pleased with how my "creation" is working.

  2. Well done! If your story prompts just one person to quit the job they hate and discover their true passion then the world will be a better place!

  7. Yep, I agree with everyone else. You're certainly an inspiration to Dora (and as my mother keeps pointing out "She's cracked London", which I think means you've REALLY made it - smile).
