Fred's House

This is Fred's house. Or was Fred's house. Fred lived two doors down from us and was easily the oldest resident in our street. Fred was as smart as a whip, had a brilliant memory, and always had a nice word to say. Fred's body got too worn out and he passed away not long after his 100'th Birthday. As he lived alone and only had one middle aged daughter, Fred's house waited for a few years till it found some nice new owners. They have started to give the house a spruce up, and nicely saved Fred's 50's kitchen lino for me.The lovely 50's bark cloth curtains are going to another crafty girl, but I think the old chair on the back veranda that my cat liked to sleep on is going to the tip. Plenty more chairs Pedro.

love the lino score, it will at least make some really sentimental pieces...
