Favorite Things

Yesterday started out with a trip to the dentist. High up on the list of my least favorite things.
But then the mood turned around sharply, and it began to blossom into a classic favorite things day.
A trip to my favorite Op-Shop resulted in a lovely lot of useful loot.Doily overload.......and a sweet beauty case. Oh and of course some more buttons.
A visit from the postie resulted in a parcel containing my "Favorite things" skirt from "Made with Love by Hannah". This was from an almost bi-annual swap we do and as usual it is the most delicious (and perfectly fitting) skirt you could own.I had a chance to have a good look at my brand new Rob Ryan book "This is for You" which was an unexpected late B'day present from Lily. It's the most beautifully told and illustrated book and is now my booky favorite! If you don't know Rob Ryan's work visit here.
Finally my sister dropped around last night with some more vintage tins, with this lady in mind.
I think the Ballerina is my favorite!

  6. Lots of lovely things in the lino forest today. I'm definitely interested in the tins. I'll be in touch when this stupid virus disappears and I can string more than a few words together.

  8. Oh Rob's the man isn't he? Dick & Dora are major fans, I'll try and take a decent shot of a valentine's card he made.
