Cuisenaire rods! *Loved* these as a kid. I don't think you should make them into stuff, I think you should donate them to your nearest 5 year old :) I think they only make these in plastic now, ick.
Yes,they can sit happily in their box for now. Not quite ready to let the prep at them...bad enough dealing with weeny Lego lurking all over the house,let alone these!
my daughter made some cool coasters when her school was getting rid of their rods. have to love them as they remind me of my childhood and she made them. so special:)
Ooooh I remember those from primary school. The different sizes represented different numbers.
