Here's a Betty Jo Snow Globe brooch on a plinth at Craft Victoria.
I could say plinth all day and still sound like my son trying to get his mouth wrapped around all words containing TH...... Plin-TH
Even though it's a tiny plinth, the nice thing about this very crappy camera phone picture (but it's a pic a day right!) is the red dot next to it. A lovely man bought it because it reminded him of his late Mum who had lost her battle with breast cancer. She fancied snowglobes and rabbits.
This is particularly poignant as yesterday I found out my Mum is starting round two of her battle with the same thing. Go Mum, you can beat it.
Oh gosh. My best to you and your mum, Liz. It's a tough battle, but one I hope you can win.
ReplyDeleteThanks Melanie,
ReplyDeleteMy Mum is unbelievably positive, so we can't help but be the same.
That is a huge thing to be facing Liz - hoping it all goes well xo
ReplyDelete(I love plinth too! It's a silly word)
My best wishes to your mum too. Keep the faith! My husband beat liver cancer because he didn't let the doctors get him down.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to your mum. I imagine that she's as fiesty and positive as you are.
ReplyDeleteJust read about your mum, my thoughts are with you all... sending loads of good vibes her way! Hope last night at the book launch went well and you had a stack of fun, I couldn't make it in the end :o(
