I've never quite decided if I am a true City girl, but I know if I don't get a bit of nature in my life each day I feel stressed. So luckily down the end of my inner suburban street is the lovely, bushy Merri Creek reserve where I walk each evening. First I cross over the stepping stones, and head down the track......My son loves spotting native birds down here too. Then I cross over the old suspension bridge that sways and wobbles. I used to cross this bridge as a little girl when I visited my Grandma's house. Not too far in the distance the tall buildings of the CBD peep above the trees.
A nice contrast of bustling business and quite reflection.

ReplyDeleteI don't normally partake in this but you have been tagged! If you wanna play along, drop by my blog and check it out....lots of useless information to learn!...x
You're a lucky gal to have that so close to home! Especially in the middle of melbourne. Nice to have a place where you can really breathe and stop for a moment.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful place :) Love the wobbly bridge, and the birds. A place to walk and reflect... that's what everyone needs.
